2019 Volkswagen Jetta Teased Ahead of Detroit Debut Sketches preview a slick-looking interiorPerhaps the most notable sketch is the interior because it shows some key features that could possibly be available on the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta. The dash in particular has a look that's reminiscent of the Alfa Romeo Giulia's dash and features a large screen integrated into it as the center piece. Unlike some of its rivals, the Jetta doesn't go with a floating screen that looks like a tablet, giving the dash a more traditional appearance. Volkswagen's digital cockpit also appears to be featured in this sketch because there doesn't seem to be a traditional rev counter and speedometer in the gauge cluster.

News Editor Conner Golden spent some time behind the wheel of a European-spec Arteon this past summer and had positive things to say about Wolfsburg's latest. "On the Autobahn, our 4Motion all-wheel-drive-equipped tester was solid, big, and smooth—typically Teutonic. When we turned off the arrow-straight Autobahn and onto snaking German mountain passageways, it handled its bulk in a manner befitting the sleek appearance," said Golden.

Volkswagen didn't announce pricing, but expect the 2019 Arteon to start no less than $35,000 when it arrives in showrooms early this fall.
