F-Body Madness – Super Chevy checks out the 2017 Classic Industries F-Body Nationals – Huge Gallery! F-bodies (that would be Camaros and Firebirds for those not hip to the nomenclature) are arguably one of the most iconic cars ever churned out by General Motors. That was the idea behind the Classic Industries F-Body Nationals held this year in Memphis, TN. Yep, an entire event dedicated to all things F-Body.

These are just cosmetic differences, though. Mechanically, this Camaro Track is basically a US-spec Camaro SS 1LE. It has the FE4 suspension package from that car, as well as the ZL1, which includes magnetic shocks, and revised springs and sway bars. It also gets the SS 1LE's electronically-controlled limited slip differential, Brembo six-piston front brakes, and extra coolers for the engine, transmission, and differential. Even the tires are the same. At all four corners are Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires in the same widths as the 1LE. The only major difference is that this Track concept has an 8-speed automatic transmission. In the States, all three levels of 1LE are exclusively manual.
