Will You McMarry Me? 5 Fast Food Proposals You'll Have to Read to Believe

Will You McMarry Me? 5 Fast Food Proposals You'll Have to Read to Believe When you pop the top of your McDonald's chicken nuggets box, you probably expect to see several nuggets made of juicy white meat—not an engagement ring. Yet that's exactly what one Illinois woman found inside her lunch this Valentine's Day. Kristian Helton told the local WAND news station that, as strange as it sounds, he knew he had to propose to his girlfriend of about two years with chicken nuggets. "Her love for chicken nuggets I'm sure is Kristian Helton told the local WAND news station that, as strange as it sounds, he knew he had to propose to his girlfriend of about two years with chicken nuggets. "Her love for chicken nuggets I'm sure is more than she loves me," he said.

Take these engagement photos , for instance. What the EFF were they thinking!? Hopefully their marriages fare better than these shots. Which one do you think is the most awkward ? Let me know @desijedeikin or in the comments below!

Engagement photos seem to be the latest trend. We've all seen photos of our newly- engaged friends staring lovingly into each other's eyes and skipping through a field of wildflowers and such. But, what if your engagement photos turned out more awkward than you'd think was possible?

Meet Caitlyn Campbell and Andrew Tucker, a couple from Chattanooga, Tennessee, who recently decided to eschew all engagement shoot rules by leaning TF into the weirdness and awkwardness of love, with a Masterminds (the 2016 movie starring Zach Galifianakis and Kristen Wiig) themed photo shoot.

The couple met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend nine months ago and both knew from the start that they had something special. "We literally laughed the whole time during the date and we instantly knew that each other was 'the one,'" Campbell said.

Campbell, who dreams of winding up as a performer on Saturday Night Live, said they watched the movie together and just knew they had to recreate Zach Galifianakis and Kate McKinnon's engagement shoot from the movie together, one day.

How Much Should An Engagement Ring Cost?

How Much Should An Engagement Ring Cost? When it’s time to start thinking about engagement rings, there’s one thing you should consider before you start looking at styles: cost. The price of a ring not only determines which one you get, but it can play a huge role in the designs you end up considering, too. You may have heard the three months’ salary rule, where your fiancé-to-be is supposed to set aside three months’ pay — and spend all of it on a diamond. “That rule doesn’t apply anymore,” says Jennifer Gandia, owner of Greenwich St. Jewelers.

Many engagement - photo -shoots are rather stylized and many have a special theme. We can’t help, but think these couples will have an awful lot of explaining to do to their next generations because their engagement photos are so weird and awkward that you will be wishing someone should fire these

When the time came for engagement photos, the two headed to their local Goodwill where they referenced photos from the movie on their phones while they shopped. Campbell was even lucky enough to find a "sweet pair of shape-ups."

As for their August wedding, Campbell says they might also do some funny things but are keeping things hush-hush for now. "We like to surprise people," she said.

For now, follow them on their Facebook page, Couple of Masterminds, to see what the jokesters have got up their sleeves next.
