The average person eats an apple from the top to the bottom and waste about 30 percent of it in the process. Food blogger Alejandra Ramos, of AlwaysOrderDessert.com, showed Inside Edition that if you take a bite right from the bottom, it gives you more of the fruit to eat.“When you bite the apple from the bottom the core disappears,” she said. “The core is thicker at the top than it is at the bottom. You can eat all the apple and just spit out the seeds. You get more apple without wasting it.

So when Oreo released a “ Mystery ” cookie earlier this year, there were just as many guesses as to what it couldn’t be as there were to what it could. As it turns out, our taste buds here at Food & Wine cracked the case. Oreo ’s newest flavor is Fruity Pebbles.

Oreo revealed the flavor of its mystery cookie on Tuesday and confirmed what many people already guessed.

The mystery flavor is Fruity Pebbles. Yabba dabba doo!

The cookie company released the mystery flavor in early October and asked fans to submit their flavor guesses for the chance to win cash prizes. On social media, many tweeted that the cookie tasted like Fruity Pebbles or orange creamsicle. The contest ended on Nov. 30, but a winner has yet to be announced.
