But according to a new study, people that have long and continuous sleep can be in trouble too, at least in their dreams. In a study conducted by the University of Oxford, researchers looked into nightmare occurrence and severity in 846 participants. The study states that approximately one in 20 experience nightmares on a weekly basis, while people with psychiatric problems experience nightmares with a far greater frequency.The sample size was 89 percent female and the median age of the study was 44.

If you're one of the millions of people in world who have trouble sleeping, this 24 minute "sleep inducing masterpiece," created by the popular meditation app calm.com might just be the cure.

Simply called "Blue Gold," the audio story is narrated by actor Stephen Fry, who you'll recognize from all seven Harry Potter audiobooks. His soothing voice tells the tale of lazily wandering through Provence in the South of France while enjoying the smell of the famous lavender fields. And the company says that once you have a listen, your body will become relaxed, ready for sleep. "We challenge anyone to stay awake for all 24 minutes," the company wrote on its website.
