'This is all about bringing mutual dog lovers together and the dogs themselves are the ice breakers,' Ms Brown told the Today show.

Sleeping With Your Dog Is OK, Study Finds

Sleeping With Your Dog Is OK, Study Finds Whether your dog wants to share a bed with you is another question! We all know that the subject of co-sleeping with babies can be pretty controversial, but what about sharing a bed with your pooch? If you love cuddling up with your furry friend every night, there's no reason to stop-researchers say that sleeping with a dog doesn't really disrupt a human's sleep cycle.A new study, published by Mayo Clinic, analyzed 40 dogs who slept in the same bed as their owners. Both dogs and humans wore trackers to analyze their sleep patterns, and the owners also logged their sleep activities in a journal.

Dogs have a very distinct way of allowing who takes their things. Just like bigger dogs who have introduced to new puppies don't attack them and let them do whatever they want , dogs raised with cats allow them to do whatever they want (very rarely).

They are taking their canines to day care, hiring pet sitters or dog walkers, matchmaking them with neighbors’ dogs , arranging play dates and, increasingly, taking them to the workplace.

And using her obsession with dogs, Ms Brown created a new dating formula for people living in Canberra after she struggled to meet people in the capital city.

'I find that dog owners are naturally quite generous, genuine and approachable - and I know when you have a dog, people are more likely to talk to you so it instantly breaks down those barriers,' Ms Brown told The Canberra Times.

'I'm a hopeless romantic, I've been on that many dates it's not funny, and even though I've met someone now, I feel like when you're in Canberra on Tinder you're limited with choice.

'So this is another kind of cool way to date, it's giving innovation to the dating scene.'

The first event, held over the weekend, was targeted for 30 to 40 year old singles. But after a popular demand, Ms Brown has created another event for those aged 20 to 30.

Dating with Dogs, organised by the Adopt Don't Shop Foundation, will return to Capital Brewing Co. in Canberra on May 20 for singles aged 20 to 30.
