  • Beauty vlogger Amber Scholl transformed a $4 little black dress from Goodwill into a prom dress.
  • She also bought a sheet of crystal appliqué and a sheet of feathery fabric to enhance the dress.
  • The vlogger crafted the dress entirely by hand using only a needle, thread, and scissors
  • Scholl started her DIY process by tailoring its skater-style skirt.
  •  Next, she sewed the layer of appliqué onto the front of her dress.
  • She trimmed the excess glittery fabric along the neckline of the dress and used it to create a statement necklace.
  • Finally, she sewed the feathery material onto the back of her dress to create a long, dramatic train.
  • When completed, her gown looked like a mixed-material high-low dress.
