  Woman charged in pregnant neighbor's death to change plea A North Dakota woman accused of killing a pregnant neighbor so she and her boyfriend could keep the baby intends to change her not-guilty plea.Brooke Crews, 38, filed a change-of-plea notice Monday in Cass County court.   Remains found in creek ID'd as missing NC 3-year-old Mariah Woods The Onslow County Sheriff and District Attorney's offices announced on Wednesday that remains found in Pender County on Saturday are those of missing 3-year-old Jacksonville girl Mariah Kay Woods. FBI investigators recovered remains believed to be those of Woods on Saturday, and her mother's boyfriend has been charged in connection with her death. The Fayetteville Police Department dive team discovered the remains during a search of Shelter Creek along Shaw Highway in Pender County on Dec. 2. No one has been charged with killing Mariah as of Wednesday afternoon.

Kelsie Schelling, 21, was last seen on Feb. 4, 2013, and had told relatives she was planning to drive to Pueblo, Colorado, to tell the news to her boyfriend, Donthe Lucas, she was eight weeks pregnant with their child, according to police.

Police say she made it to Pueblo; her car was found in Pueblo about ten days after Schelling went missing.

At the time of Schelling’s disappearance, Lucas was playing basketball for Northeastern Junior College.

Schelling has not been seen since, but the Pueblo Police Department and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation charged Lucas, 25, in Schelling’s presumed homicide.

According to a police statement, “Lucas was already in custody at the Pueblo County Detention Center facing unrelated charges” when he was served with an arrest warrant.

Lucas, who was behind bars on armed robbery charges, is being held without bond. He has not entered pleas to the charges against him, and PEOPLE was unable to determine if he has a lawyer.

The statement says that “because the investigation remains active, details about the investigation and what led to the arrest of Lucas cannot be released at this time.”

Schelling’s family could not be reached for comment.

A post on the Help Find Kelsie Facebook page urges people to come forward so that her family can give her and her unborn child a proper burial.

“Donthe Lucas faces first degree murder charges in the case of Kelsie Schelling,” the post starts. “It took many people to mobilize to reach this common goal of making an arrest and the family thanks them for the hard work, dedication and professionalism they have exhibited. For many, it also took a great deal of heart.”
