  Taekwondo for peace: Korean youths perform for pope Youths from North and South Korea treated Pope Francis on Wednesday to a display of their taekwondo prowess.The 10 martial arts athletes, half in white and half in black uniforms, staged a dramatic high kick in which one of them shattered a wood panel.

He then tore through “Like I Love You,” “My Love,” “Cry Me A River” and more, before the four other members of * NSYNC emerged for a quick duo of “Girlfriend” and, of course, “Bye Bye Bye.”

Think back to the first time you watched Rebecca Black ’s “Friday” video. Now think about what you and your friends said. “It wasn’t really the kind of attention any 13-year-old girl wants,” says the now-17-year-old Black , reflecting on her viral notoriety on a recent Thursday afternoon.

Everyone’s gettin' down on Friday, but Thursday sure packed some surprises when Rebecca Black showed up as a contestant on The Four.

The one-hit-wonder stunned judges when she stepped onto the stage for the season two premiere. Before showing off her skills, a thrilled Meghan Trainor recognized the “Friday” singer and asked the YouTube star to revisit her “legendary” story and the viral hit which, briefly, made her a household name.

“There were so many cool things that came out of it. But it also gave me a lot of setbacks. Because there were tons of people who didn’t love it,” Black, now 20, told the panel.

"Friday" is a song by American singer Rebecca Black , written and produced by Los Angeles record producers Clarence Jey and Patrice Wilson.

They performed a medley of "Girlfriend" and "Bye Bye Bye" during Timberlake's 15-minute set On July 29, 2014, a compilation of * NSYNC 's hits and unreleased songs titled The Essential * NSYNC , was released. "* NSYNC Reunites to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ( Watch )". Variety.

Black surprised once more, with a performance of NSYNC's "Bye, Bye, Bye," with her own twist. The judges were impressed, but she ultimately went home.

"I could not be more grateful for the platform you guys gave me to just be who I truly am and to do what I love more than anything else in the world," she tweeted. "What a huge weight lifted and I cannot wait to show you what's to come."
