The yawn came after this line in President Obama ' s speech : "No single person can train all the math and science teachers we'll need to equip our children for the future, or build the roads and networks and research labs that will bring new jobs and businesses to our shores.

Obamas make MLK Day visit to area homeless shelter .
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama spent part of Martin Luther King Day at a shelter in D.C. that's focused on helping the homeless find jobs. While there the Obamas helped about a half a dozen school age children paint an indoor mural featuring MLK Jr. and butterflies at the Jobs Have Priority Naylor Road Family Shelter, according to the press pool report.The Naylor Road facility is where the Obamas donated the swing set the first family reportedly installed on the south lawn of the White House grounds eight years ago.
