iPhone 8 mirror finish will make you look twice

iPhone 8 mirror finish will make you look twice The new iPhone 8 is leaking more and now a new colour has slipped out that offers a “mirror-like” finish. According to Apple leak specialist Benjamin Geskin we can expect four colours for the iPhone 8 with the mirror finish as a new option. The images Geskin shared above and below are just of a phone case but give an idea of what we could expect.© Provided by Future Publishing Ltd. Since the iPhone 8 is widely leaked to be an all glass design this mirror finish could work really nicely. Especially for those that like to give themselves a quick glance without firing up the selfie snapper.

LOS ANGELES — Apple offered a sneak peek at new emojis that will be released in the fall on its mobile devices.

The next iPhone will be like a MacBook in one depressing way: price

The next iPhone will be like a MacBook in one depressing way: price Apple’s best iPhone this year will also be the most expensive smartphone Apple ever made. The general consensus is that the entry price for the iPhone 8 will hover around $1,000. But the phone might be even more expensive than that, one storied Apple-watcher suggests.Apple fan John Gruber a few days ago proposed a wild idea at first sight that the iPhone 8’s price could start at $1,500. That probably won’t be what the cheapest iPhone 8 will cost, but Gruber still believes the entry price for the iPhone 8 will be around $1,200. And he’s got a few compelling arguments.

New emoji include a bearded man , pretzel, cut of meat and Scottish flag. The Unicode Consortium has released version 10.0.0 today, which includes a T - Rex , woman with a headscarf, fairy man , pretzel and even a woman in a steamy shower.

The additions include a bearded man , a woman wearing a headscarf, a T - Rex , a zombie, half a coconut, a zebra and an elf. These new emojis will be coming to our iPhones, iPads and other Apple products sometime in 2017.

The new characters include a woman with wearing a headscarf, a woman breastfeeding and a bearded man, along with animals and mythical creatures like T-Rex, Zebra, Zombie and Elf .

Emojis are a popular way to jazz up text messages with graphics to, as Apple says, "describe situations" and "make any message more fun." The new emoji characters will be seen in IOS 11, the fall update to the mobile operating system that powers iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices. The emojis can also be used on the Apple Watch and Mac computers.

The World Emoji Day is a marketing gimmick, but in the slow days of the summer, it  gives many brands and institutions a reason for posting and having celebrations.

Apple launches a machine learning blog to placate its researchers .
Apple hasn't always been very open about its technology or its research, but the company surprised everyone last year when AI director Russ Salakhutdinov announced that Apple would begin publishing its machine learning research. In a short welcome post on the new blog, the company said, "Here, you can read posts written by Apple engineers about their work using machine learning technologies to help build innovative products for millions of people around the world." And the post encourages researchers, students, engineers and developers to contact the journal with any questions or feedback.
