Schneider lost his starting job down the stretch to backup Keith Kinkaid, who had been the more consistent of the two netminders since the start of the second half of the season.

However, after allowing nine goals on 46 shots through the first two games of the Devils' series against the Lightning, head coach John Hynes is going with his veteran who was supposed to be the starter all season long.

The Devils also got a but of positive health news, as forward Marcus Johansson

New Jersey will be looking to earn the crucial Game 3 victory on home ice Monday night. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
