Four-star shooting guard Antwann Jones signed with Memphis.

Penny Hardaway is moving quickly in compiling his first-ever recruiting class -- and first-ever as a college coach.

When Hardaway was introduced as Memphis' replacement for Tubby Smith on March 20, it was widely assumed he would bring with him Alex Lomax, a three-star point guard who played for Hardaway's AAU and high school teams. That was made official on Friday when Lomax signed his letter of intent.

Fellow Memphis native Tyler Harris also signed on Friday, giving Hardaway two top-150 point guards in his 2018 class. The backcourt was bolstered even further on Sunday when four-star shooting guard Antwann Jones flipped from Texas A&M to Memphis. Jones, the 18th-ranked shooting guard, 92nd-ranked overall player and 11th-ranked prospect from Florida, committed to Oklahoma State in mid-September. He decommitted two weeks later, picked Texas A&M in mid-November and signed with the Aggies during the early period.
