Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson was penalized three games in the second round of the NHL playoffs for an illegal hit on the Pittsburgh Penguins Zach Aston-Reese, but on Tuesday night, Wilson found himself on the receiving end of a high hit from Tampa Bay's Anton Stralman.

Stralman received a two-minute minor for boarding but there could be a follow up from NHL Player Safety on the play since Stralman leads with his elbow and catches Wilson in the numbers.

After the incident, Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin exchanged some words with Stralman.

The Tampa Bay Lightning lead the Capitals 4-1 at the end of the second period.
