Lakers guard Josh Hart and Oklahoma City's Paul George are among the NBA's biggest Fortnite enthusiasts.

That passion for gaming brought the two NBA players to Tuesday's E3 Pro-Am Fortnite tournament at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.

With Hart and George hanging out for much of the event, the appearance did plenty to fuel more speculation about George joining the Lakers in free agency. Even Hart joked about it when ESPN tried to catch the Lakers rookie off-guard.

LeBron James and Paul George must discuss teaming up on the Lakers When Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka traded Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye and a 2018 first-round pick, the goal was to clear cap space to hopefully sign LeBron James and Paul George this summer. Now, with free agency less than a month away, the plan may be ready to come to fruition. In a recent NBA Draft special, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski suggested the All-Stars would do well to discuss their options as potential teammates this summer, particularly in the City of Angels.

Paul George , Angelino through and through, had once been the team’ s safest choice. As for George , it’ s highly doubtful the 24-year-old would’ve left Indiana even with the prospect of signing with the Lakers .

To that, he gave a single chuckle and said, "Next question."

Hey, that's not a no.

George is expected to opt out of his contract with Oklahoma City. When that happens, the Lakers would be considered a possible destination for the Los Angeles native.

Report: Thunder still have good chance of retaining Paul George

Report: Thunder still have good chance of retaining Paul George There are mixed opinions on what will happen with Paul George this summer, but one reporter is cautioning against assuming PG13 won’t return to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The New York Times’ Marc Stein reported in his newsletter that “there is a growing belief around the league that Oklahoma City has a far better chance to retain the free agent-to-be Paul George than many believed when the Thunder crashed out of the first round of the playoffs.”A report in May said that George was going to leave the Thunder, but that seemed to contradict some of the other prevalent information.

Rob Pelinka thinks other teams are reluctant to do business with Lakers because they’re jealous of their banners .
This is the greatest example of Lakers exceptionalism, maybe, ever. Lakers exceptionalism is back, and there is no clearer voice of this phenomenon than the team’s own general manager. Rob Pelinka, it seems, enjoys the salty tears of the rest of the NBA.
