  Odell Beckham Jr. defends Miami trip: ‘I’m a grown man’ Odell Beckham Jr. came forward to defend a trip to Miami along with a handful of his New York Giants teammates, saying there was nothing wrong with the off-day sojourn. Much of the criticism of Beckham and Victor Cruz, Sterling Shepard and Roger Lewis centered on how the players arguably would have been better served preparing for next Sunday's Wild Card Weekend showdown with the Green Bay Packers.

For weeks, we haven’t really talked that much about Odell Beckham Jr .’s emotions. But the were raw and exposed Thursday night, with the Giants wide receiver literally beating his head against a wall and screaming to himself before being ushered into the locker room after the Giants’ loss to the Eagles. Of course, there’s still a very good chance their season is not over at all, as they can clinch a playoff berth with a loss or tie from any of the group including the Lions, Packers, Buccaneers or Falcons.

Odell Beckham Jr . was frustrated with the New York Giants’ loss to the rival Philadelphia Eagles last night, and literally banged his head against a wall as a result. The Giants had a chance to clinch a playoff berth with a win against the Eagles on Thursday, but fell short 24-19.

After the New York Giants lost to the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs 38-13 on Sunday, Beckham reportedly was banging his head against a locker room door.

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan also says Beckham is believed to have put a hole into a wall after the loss.

Beckham Jr. had four catches for 28 yards on 11 targets in the defeat. He had a few drops in the game that were highly magnified, and his party boat in Miami the week of the game was scrutinized by the TV announcers.

After the Giants lost to the Eagles on Thursday night in Week 16, Beckham was said to be inconsolable and had to be taken into the locker room by the team’s owner.
