Judge's death outside home a grim reminder of safety concerns on the bench

Judge's death outside home a grim reminder of safety concerns on the bench While authorities haven't yet said what led to the fatal shooting of a Cook County judge outside his home Monday, the violence is a grim reminder of the work-related threats the judiciary sometimes faces, though bloodshed is extremely rare. Criminal court Associate Judge Raymond Myles, 66, was killed outside his Far South Side home when he confronted a gunman who had shot Myles' girlfriend, 52, once in the leg, police said. Police suspect the two may have been the victims of an attempted robbery.

Gregg Popovich is one big barrel of laughs. Getting filmed in the hallway of FedExForum on Thursday night, Popovich sought to make the cameraman earn his paycheck by outracing him with a giant smile on his face.

Gregg Popovich is a legend. Not only for his 1,150 career wins, but also for his sarcastic comments and antics. (And more recently, his political and social comments as well).
