Hold the phone on the Dallas Cowboys being good in 2017 Heading into the 2016 NFL season, the forecast did not look too pleasing for the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas started the season with a one-point loss to the rival New York Giants, and it seemed like the franchise was gearing toward yet another disappointing year.

The Panthers defeat the Cowboys 33-14. In a story that is quite heartbreaking, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and return man Lucky Whitehead is currently in need of some help. His dog Blitz was stolen from home while Whitehead was out of town.

Whitehead had went out of town and a close friend was taking care of his dog while at home. They broke into his home and then stole his dog Blitz.

According to the above post on Instagram, Whitehead also states the people that stole his dog have called asking for ransoms in return for Blitz. Whitehead didn't take too kindly to that and makes it known.

Hopefully Whitehead's dog is returned to him safely and unharmed. Many people have, in bad taste, made jokes about the incident. The sanctuary of a man's home being violated is no laughing matter, and neither is the fact of a pet which Whitehead obviously cares deeply about being taken from him.

Report: Teammates have warned Elliott about off-field behavior .
Ezekiel Elliott may have simply found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time when an incident occurred at a Dallas bar Sunday night, but even his own teammates understand that the 21-year-old needs to start acting more responsibly. According to Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report, Elliott has been warned “numerous times” about being more careful in his personal life. While it goes without saying that team executives have voiced concerns, the same can be said of the star running back’s teammates.
