Lonzo Ball, who has helped bring huge crowds to Las Vegas for this year's Summer League competition, won't play for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Portland Trail Blazers Monday night in the finale, the team announced.

Ball is out with a mild calf strain in his right leg. He injured it against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

The No. 2 overall pick wraps up Summer League play averaging 16.3 points, 9.3 assists and 7.7 rebounds in six games. His play has sparked more excitement for the event than it has possibly ever seen, while his assists average is the highest in Summer League history.
