The Blues were down to ten men early on when Chelsea skipper Cahill flew into Steven Defour with a reckless tackle and saw red for his troubles. The visitors were then ahead when Matthew Lowton found Sam Vokes and the Burnley striker nodded his side in front. It then got even better for the Clarets when Stephen Ward took the ball down in the box before lashing a shot into the corner of the net to make it 2-0.
