  2 Ringgold School District football players charged with assaulting teammate Two Washington County high school football players have been criminally charged with assaulting one of their teammates. Misdemeanor charges of simple assault have been filed against Tyrese Lamont Youngblood and Dezmier Alize Majors, both 18 and residents of Donora. They are members of the Ringgold High School football team.The charges were filed by Ringgold School District Police Chief Clayton R. Shell on Monday in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 13.In addition to one count of simple assault, Mr. Youngblood has been charged with a summary count of harassment. Mr.

Report: Sam Bradford expected to miss Week 3 with knee injury .
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford was able to practice this week after missing Week 2 with a knee injury, but it does not sound like he will be taking the field on Sunday. Dan Graziano of ESPN reported on Friday that Bradford is still experiencing discomfort in his knee and is not expected to play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Case Keenum will likely start for a second consecutive week.Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur hinted on Thursday that Bradford was making progress, but he apparently is not 100 percent healthy.
