The Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees will face off in the ALDS, which means Ohio native LeBron James will be rooting for … He once dropped an easy foul ball at Shea Stadium and was booed by 35,000 angry Mets fans (and hasn't recovered from it).

The Yankees social media accounts were pretty ruthless to Cleveland on Wednesday night, after beating the Indians to advance to the ALCS. There was the shot at the Indians blowing a big lead in the series and then there was this tweet once again of a photo of the Cavaliers star rooting for the New York team before he remembered he was an Indians fan:

But as For The Win's Charles Curtis wrote last year, James has done a good job of proving his loyalty to his hometown team since returning - no matter how golden that photo is for New York.
