Brad Keselowski found the perfect way to honor Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Brad Keselowski found the perfect way to honor Dale Earnhardt Jr. "Dale Jr. is one of a kind," Keselowski explained.Brad Keselowski wanted in too.

Of course, we're talking about Dale Earnhardt Jr . How has Junior been able to sustain as the sport's most popular personality for a decade? Even though he has yet to win his first Sprint Cup championship and has won just two races in the last five seasons, Earnhardt continues to be Mr

Driver: Dale Earnhardt Jr . Car: No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS dubbed ‘Amelia’. Track: Talladega Superspeedway. He won in Amelia at Talladega and returned to Daytona to win the summer race before finishing second in the fall at Talladega .

There's a lot riding on Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s shoulders this weekend for his last time racing at Talladega Superspeedway.

Thanks to his six wins in addition to Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s 10, that track is known as Earnhardt Country. But it's also put more pressure on the No. 88 Chevrolet driver than usual to drive to Victory Lane in Sunday's Alabama 500 for what would be his first win of the year and probably the last of his career before he retires at the end of the season.

Of course, Dale Jr. is excited and embracing that pressure to win, knowing that so many fans in JR Nation think this track is his best shot at one last victory.

During his Dale Jr. Download podcast this week, he explained:

"I know - whether we are ready for it or not - there are going to be some freaking people at this race track that are counting on us to make a damn show of it. There are two things that are going to be incredibly motivating this weekend, all right? One of them is going to be the fan support that we're gonna see, which I know will be out there strong. They love the Earnhardts at Talladega.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s spotter TJ Majors is the ultimate multitasker

- Dale Earnhardt Jr . had hoped that he could give his fans a video treat Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway. But sometimes the best ideas don't go as planned, and his plan for Talladega has gone much like Earnhardt 's final NASCAR Cup season

TALLADEGA , Ala. – A lot of times, Dale Earnhardt Jr . seems like a totally regular, down-to-earth guy who could easily be your neighbor – an Average Joe. (Brian Lawdermilk/Getty Images). But most of the time when he doesn’t have his wallet, it’s not an issue because he said he doesn’t really buy stuff.

"Also, put that camera on my helmet. So I'm wearing that helmet cam all weekend. And I purposefully asked for that helmet cam for the Talladega race 'cause imagine: With that helmet cam, people (are) gonna be able what you're doing all the time. So it's going to hold me accountable and motivate me to be aggressive. And I wanna put some stuff on film that people are gonna want to watch. Between that and the fan support, I think we're gonna be in the gas all weekend."

With a camera on his helmet, Earnhardt will give fans a view similar to what they saw when he live-streamed the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway this summer.

That's some heavy motivation to get a seventh win at Talladega on Sunday.

Earnhardt dismisses talk about past for future fatherhood .
Dale Earnhardt Jr. would much rather talk about the future than the past these days. NASCAR's most popular driver continued his farewell tour with his final trip to Kansas Speedway on Sunday, politely answering the same questions about his career and legacy that he's face all season. But he lit up when he talked about next week, and a trip with his wife Amy to the doctor's office. The couple announced last week they are expecting a baby girl.''We went for a checkup and Amy took a couple of tests, and the tests were saying she's pregnant.
