S Korea to send high-level officials to North for talks
South Korea's presidential office says a 10-member government delegation is to visit North Korea this week for talks on how to promote peace on the Korean Peninsula. The Blue House said Sunday the delegation led by national security director Chung Eui-yong is to fly to Pyongyang on Monday for a two-day visit that includes talks with unidentified senior North Korean officials.
A pro-Trump protester on Tuesday shredded a Mexican flag while others watched - some cheering, others trying to intervene to stop him - during the president's visit to the U.S.-Mexico border in California.
Trump supporters were gathered in Otay Mesa when a protester accidentally dropped a Mexican flag from a passing car,.
A man in a Trump hat and shirt reportedly said "F--- Mexico, this is America" as he shredded the Mexican flag with a pocket knife.
Crowds around him chanted "USA" while one man yelled, "They burn our flag in our country, burn theirs in ours," KTLA reported.
Turkey riot police break up women's rights march
Turkish police on Sunday fired tear gas to break up a women's rights march in Ankara with some 15 protesters reportedly detained. The protesters, mainly from the Ankara Women's Platform, a NGO promoting women's rights, had gathered in the Turkish capital for the march called ahead of International Women's Day on March 8."We are getting stronger in solidarity," read one banner as riot police moved in and fired tear gas after the group ignored calls to disperse, AFP photographers at the scene said.Fifteen women were detained by police, the private Dogan News Agency reported.
The move didn't sit well with other Trump supporters in the crowd, however, and at least two of them tried to intervene, according to the news outlet.
Two women, including one draped in a "Make America Great Again" flag, stopped the man from setting the flag on fire.

One of the women said she disagreed with what the man did and said it sent the wrong message, KTLA reported.
