Three teens were injured in a shooting Friday night at a south Sacramento movie theater, police said.

The shooting happened around 10:50 p.m. in the parking lot of the United Artists movie theater on Center Parkway, near Bruceville Road, Sacramento police said.

Police said the three teens were with a group of friends in the rear parking lot of the theater when they heard multiple gun shots. Three teenage boys were hit in the legs, investigators said.

The teens were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and police say the teens couldn't provide a suspect description. They're asking anyone with information to contact police.
